In collaboration with Gifted Grads, Westborn Collectives will be helping celebrates Gifted Grads seventh anniversary with a multinational education initiative—banding efforts to reach Nigeria, Haiti, the Dominican Rep, and Jamaica. Operationally speaking, the teams partner to produce an event marking the birth of a dynamic fundraising alliance. Born Gifted: an art exhibition that launches scholarships throughout the diaspora. A creative event powered by remembrance, honoring both mother and fatherlands, while paying homage to a wider sense of cultural identity. 

The partnering of these organizations exemplifies each other's edge. Westborn Collectives is a creative agency that centers its brand around storytelling and in-person events, while Gifted Grads administers community impact by facilitating the meeting of needs. 

Born Gifted is a ceremonial alliance between the Caribbean islands and West Africa, a culmination of performance and visual art that connects the diaspora with the shared goal of uplifting its peoples through the enrichment of their minds, as a means of supporting them on the path to self-actualization. At a time in the world where differences are highlighted and are hostile, our teams are looking to amplify the common threads between the respective nations, building unity and solidarity. 

The imagery we set out to convey is how deeply intertwined the Diaspora is. We want to be informative (share data) while showcasing symbols from each country; the visuals must connect us across land and sea. Prioritizing interest for the attendance and the ethos of the Born Gifted gathering, so that aligned action results in the fulfillment of contribution, however, most enjoyable/accessible.
